Tell us about you?
I'm a visual artist. I have worked with printmaking, photography and video installation, but I primarily focus on drawing. During the lockdown, my exhibitions were sadly cancelled and I wasn't able to go to my studio, so I ended up making video works from home. I also received funding to create a series of video works! It was fun, and I think it proves that you can create work out of anything.

What influences you?
I love lots of painters and photographers, but I still think that my work is heavily influenced by films. I remembered watching Pedro Almodovar's Volver and it changed the way I see story-telling and poetry. It was funny and absurd, but also beautiful. It definitely influenced the way I used my visual language.
What Motivates you as an Artist?
I think the process of art-making is healing. It's like a free therapy.
What are you working on at the moment?
I'm currently working on a new series of work. It will be a mix of drawings, paintings, videos and found objects. I'm also obsessed with art conservation at the moment, so I'm looking into learning more about that next year.
What does the theme 'United' mean to you?
