    A hidden Melbourne gem you adore: The Pioneer Women’s Garden in Kings Domain. A gorgeous secluded garden that is up the hill from the trough on the tan running track. So many people miss it. Next time you run/walk the tan, walk up the hill, it is worth it.

    Favourite TED Talk? Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work. I love this talk because it is on one of my favourite topics, it’s fast, funny and informative.

    Favourite TED Talk and why? It’s too hard to name one! However, if pressed this talk stands out as highly memorable – direct and engaging, Hans and Ola Rosling’s “How not to be ignorant about the world”. Fight ignorance with humor and statistics, challenging even the smartest and most well informed viewers to re-think their own preconceptions of the world as we know it.

    Best coffee spot in Melbourne? Love a coffee @ Top Paddock; quality, consistency and you can’t beat the hustle & bustle of the place. That it’s directly across from the Tesla dealership doesn’t hurt either.

    A hidden Melbourne gem you adore: Hidden gem is Bar Americano. It’s hidden down a CBD laneway and services early morning espresso through to a late night cocktail. Did I mention the bar has a max capacity of 10?

    Favourite TED Talk? I don’t think I have a single favourite; I particularly enjoy the TED podcast from NPR that amalgamates multiple talks that share a common thread. As for why, Roselinde Torres hits the nail on the head when she says “In a 21st-century world, which is more global, digitally enabled and transparent, with faster speeds of information flow and innovation, and where nothing big gets done without some kind of a complex matrix, relying on traditional development practices will stunt your growth as a leader.” We need to rethink the way in which we lead.
