THERE’S NO BETTER TIME TO BE ALIVE

Future Crunch will show us why.

Pessimists beware, it’s likely that you’ll change your mind.

As humans, we are constantly making decisions. And yet, most of the time we are flooded by questions that are either mundane, which is to be expected, or harmful (and it’s from this last bunch that we have to be careful about). We have the power to transform the questions that drive us; they can be positive, useful. With that said, here’s one you might want to consider: how will I choose to observe the world today?June 5 is just around the corner. At this year’s event, ‘Limitless: The Other Side of Impossible’, we are delighted to share the stage with Future Crunch, who will guide their audience to look at the time we live in with ‘intelligent optimism’. This group of scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and researchers, who have spoken at over 200 events, are believers of the magic behind technology and its potential to make the world a peaceful, better place. But we don’t have to wait and simply imagine everything that we wish would happen. Change is occuring now. We are ‘limitless’ now. In their own words: ‘If we want to change the story of the human race in the 21st century, we have to change the stories we tell ourselves’.

If negative thoughts manifest themselves as the limits that prevent us from thriving, couldn’t we say the same about how we choose to observe everything that surrounds us?

Future Crunch will take the audience from laughter to reflection in an instant. Finding a definition that justifies what they do is tough. We could say that they are treasure hunters: they look for the good news that the mainstream media ignore. Did you know that the world's largest 3D metal printer was unveiled in Melbourne? They are explorers, with stimulating presentations, they ask the audience to think differently by showing unmapped perspectives on humanity by combining insights from a wide array of fields. They are igniters of optimistic thinking. And that’s definitely contagious; after listening to their message, leaping into action will be inevitable.
