What influences you?
My biggest influences would be the music I listen to; i.e, Punk, Hardcore, Ska, and the ideologies that accompany them; PMA, Straight Edge, Youth Crew Movement, Equality, Freedom of Expression, SHARP. When I listen to music, often I see a story playing out in my head, and I draw on those images that I see.
Dance has also become one of my biggest influences, and I think in absence of being able to during the Melbourne lockdown, it forced me to explore new avenues of expressing dance, in the from of drawing.
What Motivates you as an Artist?
I am motivated by many different sources, mostly music, drawing on the ideologies from the Punk and Hardcore scenes. Although, I always like to explore new mediums or techniques or subject matter. I find that I am constantly draw to the idea of how to portray "movement". Whether that means physical movement, for example 'dance' or mental movement, how the mind thinks and changes.
