Tell us about you?
Hi, my name is Max. I'm a creative night owl with passion for adventures, digital design, technology and creative photography. While working as a product manager during the day, I become a photographer at night.

What influences you?
The biggest influence to my creative identity was my time abroad in Melbourne in 2019. Born in Germany, I moved to the other side of the world for a semester abroad and was able to completely redefine myself away from what I was used to. I met and shot with countless of photographers and some of them them became my best friends. Surrounding myself with people with the same interests and pursuing my passion every day helped me to strive to get better at what I do. Australia was an absolute adventure to me, and I still look back and miss that time every single day!
What Motivates you as an Artist? 
Through photography, I am able to capture a moment in time and the world as I see it through my lens. Ever since I picked up a camera, I was intrigued to take pictures in hard lighting or weather conditions, push my gear to its limits and capture subjects from a different perspective. In my night photography work, I am aiming for a neon inspired, cyberpunk and neo-noir themed look with vibrant colors.
What are you working on at the moment?
There are lots of new ideas I collected throughout 2020 which I continue to work on silently, those include moving cinemagraphs, cyberpunk-themed Japan photos, post-apocalyptic landscape photo series from New Zealand and a series about technology and humans. Apart from actual creative work, I'm planning to open a print store on my homepage, listing my work on the Artling and to publish more of my pictures for free usage on Unsplash. Meanwhile, I still haven't edited over 12,000 pictures from 282 days abroad...
