We’re looking for Research Writers to join our Community team at TEDxMelbourne.
Specifically, we are looking for researchers across these three areas:
Research Writers are people embedded within domains and communities of their interests.
They help research, inform and create and share knowledge of what’s happening within these domains for our TEDx team and beyond. They’re up to date with the latest news and advancements in their domain. Notably, these roles are expected to be on the pulse with what's happening in these domains within Melbourne.
These roles will form their own team that may traverse curation, marketing and community.
The community team at TEDxMelbourne are the pulse behind engaging with our audience. The stretch across content, curation and community engagement. As a community advocate, you will represent your domain of focus and inform the overall engagement of TEDxMelbourne through your domain.
This voluntary position entails a commitment of approximately 1-3 hours per week, which may increase during event periods.
You live and breathe your focus area, you are a connector, a generalist, and am willing to work independently to grow and nurture your community in question. You’re up to date with the latest trends or news within your space. You’re the go-to person amongst your friends to get knowledge in your area.
